Ari, born in Tabanan, a regency in southwest Bali, has always been creative, displaying talent in drawing and Balinese wood carving from a young age.

His journey into tattooing began when his mentor took him to a tattoo convention, exposing him to a diverse range of art styles. There, Ari discovered his true passion for tattooing, fascinated by the idea of putting cool designs on someone’s skin.

Over the next six months, Ari learnt the basics of tattooing under the wing of his mentor and spent the following two years practising passionately and consistently. His dedication and hard work are reflected in the quality of his art and tattoos.

Specializing in traditional/neo-traditional, Ari gets excited when he can incorporate his Balinese culture or something meaningful to his client into his tattoo designs. He prides himself on his genuine interest in his client’s stories, listening attentively before starting each design.

When asked about his favorite aspect of being a tattoo artist, Ari says, “Meeting different people from all walks of life every day and infusing his culture and style with the vision and story of his client in the final tattoo design.”
